The following information is entered or viewed when working with sittings in the Sittings Wizard:
The name of the sitting, which will be used to identify and find it within the system.
|Service||The service that contains the test(s) for the sitting.|
The name of the tests that the students will be completing.
(Beginning of Test Start Period)
The earliest date and time, the test can start.
This is also known as the Beginning of the Test Start Period.
Within the Test Start Period page, the From Date & Time and the To Date & Time define the time range between which a student can start their test.
(End of Test Start Period)
The latest date and time, the test can start.
This is also known as the End of the Test Start Period.
|Remaining Credits Status Bar|
The number of credits that are remaining for the selected service.
One credit is required for each student and each test.
|Students||The names of the students who will be taking tests during the sitting.|
|Test Start Mode|
Defines the way in which the test is started. Students can only start their test(s) within the Test Start Period, which is defined within the 'To' and 'From' boxes.
The Manual Test Start option means an extra layer of control is added to the test starting process. As soon as the Test Start Period begins, a Testwise user has to click the Start Test button from within the Student Progress screen to enable students to start their test(s).
The Automatic Test Start option means that as soon as the Test Start Period begins students can start their test.
Once the Test Start Period has ended (defined in the 'To' box) students cannot start their test(s).
This information is available when changing sitting details or creating sittings.
